Chonic Complex Care unit : Carewest's largest facility is located on 16th Avenue NE and offers programs including Day Hospital, the Younger Adult Day Support Program and Chronic Complex Care.Video
Neuro rehabilitation unit: This unit at the Dr. Vernon Fanning centre is dedicated to helping people who have had strokes, or suffer from other neurological problems but do not need to be in hospital.Video
Regional Community Transition Program: This program is run at three Carewest sites: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Sarcee and Glenmore Park. The transition team gets to know its clients and determines what type of care, support and living arrangements to best support their needs.Video
Carewest Day Hospital Program: As the number of older Calgarians continues to grow, so does the pressure on traditonal health services. The Carewest Day Hospital Program gives seniors the care they need without having to stay in a hospital or long-term care facility for a lengthy period of time.Video
Carewest Signal Pointe: This facility serves clients with Alzheimer Disease and other dementias. Signal Pointe features a residential design with four tailor-made bungalows and a fifth bungalow for respite services, community information and day programs.Video
Comprehensive Community Care program: Located at Carewest Sarcee, this program is specifically designed for seniors who qualify to live in a continuing care centre but prefer to stay in their home. The program provides all the medical care, home services and other help seniors may need so they can remain independent and in charge of their own life.Video
Musculo-Skeletal Rehabilitation Unit: Located at Carewest Glenmore Park, this unit is dedicated to helping people who have recently had hip surgery or other fractures but do not need to be in hospital.Video
