Social Worker 2 - 2010-0720
We currently have a casual position available in our Regional Community Transition Program at our Sarcee site. This role is responsible for assisting clients and families with social and financial issues related to continuing care admissions or return to the community. Collaborating with the Community Care Coordinator, Transition Services to assist with the development of the discharge plan. Communicating with the client and family about progress toward the appropriate discharge location. The successful candidate should have:
- Graduation from a recognized degree program in Social Work or equivalent program
- Registered with Alberta Association of Social Workers; DriverÕs License
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a combination of clinical and continuing care roles; Gerontology experience is preferred
Therapy Assistant - 2009-0559
We currently have one regular full-time position available at our Glenmore Park site in the Geriatric Mental Health Program. Under supervision, the Therapy Assistant performs client treatments or therapy as directed by a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist in accordance with established practices and procedures and supporting Carewest's Frame of Reference. Duties may include application of muscle and joint treatments, physical exercises and providing vocational/occupational training to clients. Other related duties as required.
- Diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy required.
- Graduation from recognized Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant Program
- Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential. Experience with computers preferred.
Therapy Assistant - 2010-0278
We currently have one temporary part-time position available at our Glenmore Park site in the Regional Community Transition Program. The Therapy Assistant is responsible for working under the direction of the team Physical and/or Occupational Therapists to provide therapeutic programming to clients focused on helping them to achieve their discharge goals. This position works as part of the therapy team to contribute t the client's quality of life by providing appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence. Responsible for other related duties as required.
- Diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy required
- Graduation from recognized Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant Program

Therapy Aide
Under close supervision and in accordance with established policies, procedures and care plans, the Therapy Aide performs a variety of routine resident care support activities to optimize the functional abilities of residents. Duties may include assisting wit Activities of Daily Living (ADL), instructing craft classes, assisting with social events, group exercises, and games. Responsible for other duties as required. Related experience in a hospital or continuing care facility is preferred; Geriatric experience is an asset; Program specific training/experience is an asset.
- PCA Certificate in leisure activities or equivalent required (will consider equivalent combination of education and experience)

Psychologist 2 - 2010-0787
We currently have a temporary full time position at our Occupational Stress Injury clinic at our Market Mall location. This role is responsible for delivering treatment services to clients referred by Veterans' Affairs Canada and Department of National Defence as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include: administering and interpreting standardized psychological assessment instruments, designing individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs, and delivering evidence-based psychological treatment interventions. Other related duties as required. The successful candidate should have:
- Graduated from a recognized degree program in Psychologist . Master's Degree required.
- Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)
- Experience in delivering effective individual and group psychotherapy. Experience working with members of the military or police forces preferred. Experience in treating anxiety disorders (including PTSD preferred)
