Staff Scheduler - 2010-0596
We currently have one regular full time position available at our Administration Centre. This position is responsible for key administrative processes in ESP and PeopleSoft databases such as; time card entries, audit functions, pay corrections and adjustments, rotation assignments and employee editor. Other primary duties consist of booking relief staff, training orientation and support to users and customers and coordinating and verifying work with Human Resources and Finance and other related duties as required. The successful candidate will have:
- Certificate in Human Resources; Payroll preferred
- Computer literate (speed and accuracy 50 wpm)
- 2 to 3 years office experience preferably in Human Resources/Payroll; Experience in union environment an asset. Windows software, email proficiency, clerical accuracy and arthrimetic experience required. Database experience preferred.
Shipper/Receiver - 2010-0684
We currently have a regular full-time position at our Garrison Green location. Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for providing an effective delivery system to Carewest internal and external customers and providing excellent customer service. Key accountabilities include inventory management of medical and clinical equipment, including the surplus of equipment and updating of the Archibus database. This position will support and assist with recycling and waste disposal. The incumbent provides support for the storage and administration of minor equipment, pandemic supplies, emergency supplies, gift shop supplies, etc. Other duties as required. The successful candidate should have the following:
- Supply Chain Managment Certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
WHMIS is desirable - Minimum of 3-5 years of shipping receiving experience is required. Experience in Microsoft programs including Excel and Word required. Knowledge of the Archibus systems an asset.
Maintenance Worker 2 - 2010-646
We currently have one regular full time position available at our Garrison Green location. Under supervision, this position is responsible for cleaning, lubrication, and repairing of mechanical parts on hospital equipment, monitoring operations, and performing routine preventative maintenance on boilers and air handling systems; responsible for boiler checks and keeping logs and records; repair and construction of basic wooden structures and furniture; minor repair and part replacement on plumbing fixtures and pipes; testing and adjusting light fixtures; assisting tradespeople and other staff with various construction or maintenance tasks. Responsible for other related duties as required. The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum 5th class Power Engineer Certificate or combination A or B with Special Boiler Operator's Certificate
- Must possess a valid Alberta Driver's Licence
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in large building and equipment maintenance, including boiler operations, required
Project Coordinator, MDS
We currently have a regular full-time position at our Administration centre. The MDS Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting staff in the implementation of MDS data input and utilization to improve client care. Duties include educating staff to increase computer literacy and coding accuracy, testing computer systems to ensure clinical needs are met. collecting and reviewing data. Responsible for other duties as required. The successful candidate should have:
- Bachelor Degree in a related health science discipline
- Member of good standing with Health Profession recognized by the Health Professions Act of Alberta required
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a continuing care setting.
- Previous experience with teaching staff and facilitating change management
- Experience and knowledge of RAI data; coding and using data
Financial Analyst
We currently have a regular full-time position at our Administration Centre. The Financial Analyst has the overall responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of the annual corporate budget; the development and maintenance of the management reporting system, including key indicators; monitoring the organizationÕs financial performance; ensuring compliance with regional requirements for reporting and funding accountabilities and providing financial expertise and assistance to the leadership teams. Additional responsibilities include business advisory services to programs/services to determine impact of change on operations and the feasibility of proposed projects. The successful candidate should have:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline with a focus in finance or accounting.
- CMA, CGA or CA
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Finance experience, preferably in a Health related industry. Experience in Microsoft programs including Excel and Word required. Knowledge of Oracle and Peoplesoft systems an asset.
